ITALARDESIA is owned by Vittorio Quarto Arata, wife Cristina, daughter Raffaella and son Patrizio, who are all involved in the family business, and represent the fourth and fifth generation.The Arata family opened their first slate quarry in the early nineteenth century. Son-in-law Hans Kappeler also joined the company as Production Manager.

The company manufactures a full range of billiard slates, including snooker, pool - both in 3 pieces and 1 piece - and carom.

Another side of the business is slates for the building industry, both for the export and domestic market.
